ACHIEVE aims to foster collaborative research and training networks among health professionals to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes in the regions that we serve through excellence in the delivery of innovative, fit-for-purpose health professions education and research, partnerships and leadership.

The priorities of ACHIEVE are to:

Enhance learning opportunities by developing and evaluating innovative, technology-enabled health education programs that are responsive to Australian health workforce needs
Explore linkages by fostering research collaborations and partnerships within the JMP, LHDs and other relevant organisations to promote knowledge-sharing and joint research and training initiatives
Enable visibility by communicating the impact of ACHIEVE's programs and initiatives to key stakeholders and advocate for increased support and showcase of excellence
Expand resources by identifying and diversifying funding sources to ensure the sustainability and growth of ACHIEVE's programs and initiatives
Extend research by developing and strengthening impactful local and international connections with communities to ensure improved healthcare outcomes in underserved areas

We are excited to bring you this collaborative network and would like to encourage everyone to engage in one of the four research and scholarship groups that ACHIEVE provides. Each group will have a different focus into 2023 and beyond. The groups are:
